PodoGel Fancy is a professional, low-viscosity, crystal-clear gel developed to provide support for fragile or damaged nail plates and to prevent the growth of microorganisms thanks to an innovative plant-based active ingredient incorporated into the formula.

The gel was developed in collaboration with experts from the academic sector and stands out for its extraordinary flexibility, significantly superior to that of traditional pedicure gels. This feature makes it ideal as:

• A base for reinforced semi-permanent gel
• Protection for nail plates with trauma, onycholysis, and fragility
• Support for light reconstructions and professional prosthetics
• Preventive nail treatments, even for individuals prone to fungal infections or bacterial colonization

The plant-based active ingredient: Ethyl Ferulate

In the ingredient list (MSDS), the identified natural active ingredient is: Ethyl Ferulate – 5–10%

It is a natural derivative of ferulic acid, a compound found in rice, oats, and numerous medicinal plants. It is known in the literature for:

• Antimicrobial and antifungal properties
• Strong antioxidant action
• High stability within UV-curable systems
• Compatibility with acrylic matrices without altering their polymerization

What makes it unique is that it does not polymerize within the gel but remains deposited on the surface of the nail plate, creating a natural protective microfilm that helps prevent bacterial or fungal growth between the nail and the overlay.

PROFESSIONAL USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Thorough preparation

• Perform a manicure or pedicure, removing cuticles and loose skin with the appropriate drill bits.
• Clean with Nail Prep Dehydrate to remove dust, impurities, and surface moisture.
• Apply Dehydrator to fully dry the nail plate.

2. Application of PodoGel Fancy

• Apply a very thin, even layer of PodoGel Fancy.
• The layer must be very thin to ensure the proper action of the plant-based active ingredient.
• Cure for 60 seconds.
• Apply a second thin layer, smoothing it out with controlled movements.
• Cure for 120 seconds.
• Only after the second layer is it possible to:
• remove the dispersion layer
• slightly matt the surface if necessary
• This step ensures maximum adhesion for subsequent layers.

3. Compatible topcoats

• After preparing the PodoGel Fancy, you can proceed with:
• Classic nail polish
• Semi-permanent nail polish
• Semi-permanent top coat
• Classic clear top coat

CAUTION: The final layers must always be very thin to maintain the gel’s ideal flexibility.

Ingredients: Urethane Acrylate, Urethane Methacrylate, Hydroxypropyl Methacrylate, Acryloyl Morpholine, Acrylic Acrylate Oligomer, 2-Phenoxyethyl prop-2-enoate, Aliphatic Urethane Acrylate Oligomer, Ethyl Ferulate (natural), Benzoyl Isopropanol, Pentaerythrityl Tetraacrylate, Methyl Benzoylformate, di-p-tolyl phosphine oxide, 2-Butenedioic acid dibutyl ester (homopolymer), Polysiloxane, PPG-3 Glyceryl ether triacrylate, BHT, p-Hydroxyanisole.
