Their high, controlled viscosity allows for precise shaping of the product, preventing drips and ensuring optimal material handling in both classic techniques and when working with Dual Forms.

One of the most important features of these gels is their dual structural response:

• in thin layers (cuticle area), they maintain a certain flexibility
• in thicker layers, they become extremely rigid and durable

This allows for very elegant and thin nails without compromising the strength of the structure.

Shades and Pigmentation

The Imen Builder Gel line includes various shades from the following collections:

It’s important to know that the color visible in the jar doesn’t always match the final result on the nail. Once applied, the gel often tends to look lighter and more natural.

Within the line, you will find:

• more pigmented shades
• more translucent shades

This allows you to create different nude effects: more opaque or more natural and luminous.

Some colors in the Color line can also create slightly translucent or glass-like effects.

How to apply the product correctly

To get the most out of these gels, it is important to follow the correct application method.

1. Applying the product

Scoop the gel from the edge of the jar, slowly and without sudden movements.

2. Placing in the Dual Form

Place a small amount of product inside the Dual Form.

3. Applying the product

Holding the brush parallel to the Dual Form, spread the product with slow back-and-forth motions, pulling it toward the cuticle area.

This method allows you to:

• prevent the formation of bubbles
• distribute the material evenly
• perfectly control the nail’s structure.

It is always recommended to clean the edges of the dual form before application to achieve a more precise result.

Recommended brushes

To work with Imen Builder Gels correctly, we recommend using brushes that are:

• not too long
• wide enough
• with stiff yet flexible bristles

This type of brush allows for better control of the product’s high viscosity. We recommend Fancy No. 4 and No. 6.

Curing

Imen Builder Gels are particularly suitable for use with Dual Forms, as they can be cured quickly with a lamp.

• 3 seconds with a Mini LED Lamp for standard gels
• 3–4 seconds for more pigmented shades

Full curing takes:

2 minutes in the Imen Cristallo UV/LED lamp

For highly pigmented shades, you can increase the curing time by 30–40 seconds to ensure perfect curing.

During full nail extensions, it may be helpful to cure the nail with the hand upside down to promote even curing.

Mistakes to Avoid

During application, it is important to avoid some common mistakes:

• working the product too quickly
• swirl the gel around the brush
• applying the product with the brush tilted at a 45° angle
• making sudden or too rapid movements

These actions can cause bubbles to form in the material.

The application of these builders is very similar to that of Stick Builder Gels.

For proper preparation of the natural nail, it is essential to always use Fancy prep liquids, such as:

• Nail Prep
• Dehydrator
• Bond

These steps ensure a perfectly clean, dry surface ready to guarantee maximum product adhesion.

Final seal:

• Top Gel Classic Fancy – ideal when you want a slightly more textured
  finish, or
• Top Gel Ultra Shine Fancy – perfect for a thinner seal and intense shine

The combined use of these products allows you to achieve a stable, long-lasting, and professional finish, optimizing the final result with both classic and Dual Forms techniques.
